It is quite fitting that I am featuring Amy Sia as my first Artist Obsession post because I have been lusting after her work for the better part of a year. Seriously. Her gorgeous patterns and bright colors are simply enticing. Plus, I have a special love for all things symmetrical and her kaleidoscopic compositions are perfectly balanced. They make me happy and fit my personal aesthetic to a T. Girly colors and vaguely floral patterns all in one psychedelic package? Perfect! I feel like these works would also scale up or down really beautifully. A large scale canvas print would be an incredible statement piece, but because the images are so intricately detailed they would totally work on a smaller scale as well. So addicted.
Thankfully, Miss Sia’s work is really accessible and affordable. Her website and Pinterest are both absolutely stunning and her Society6 page offers a ridiculously good price. Pro tip: the throw pillows, clocks, phone cases, comforters, and coffee mugs are equally lust-worthy. Christmas wish list, anyone?
